Angelica Buerkin - Salgado PhD

Angelica Buerkin-Salgado, PhD., and is Director of Research for Lausanne Business Solutions. In this capacity she leads our research on effective communication, adult learning, and other strategic topics.

Angelica brings a unique background to our team. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras; raised in Frankfurt, Germany; educated in Alabama, Baltimore, Maryland, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and spent two years conducting research in Paris, France.

Angelica received her B.A. in Cognitive Science from Johns Hopkins University. She spent two years working on early language production and processing at the Laboratoire Psychologie de la Perception in Paris. While in Paris, she wrote for a periodical on travel and leisure, and translated transcripts and pitches for film submissions for the Cannes Film Festival. Afterward returning to the United States, she received her M.A. and PhD in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Angelica is a culturally and intellectually diverse and multitalented member of our team. In her leisure time she enjoys hiking, yoga, and gardening.
