NAVIGATING A MULTIGENERATIONAL WORKFORCE

The necessity of having a strategy to manage a multigenerational workforce is becoming ever more important. Over the past few years, millennials edged out generation X as the largest share of the labor force, according to Pew Research Center. Millennials now represent over 35% of the overall workforce and that number is estimated to be above 50% in the next 3 years. What is more, is Gen Z, those born after 1996, are posed to enter the workforce in numbers larger than Gen X. The new generation joining the workforce are also the most different in beliefs, ideals, and work styles of previous generations. How are Generation X, Baby Boomers, Millennials, and Gen Z to work together in your organization?
